Tour de Suisse stage 2 and 3 + last stage of Dauphine Libéré:

Anyway. Let's talk about le Tour de Suisse.The second stage of the race wasn't a very tough one.3 riders (Javier Armendia,Josef Benetseder and Hervé Duclos-Lasalle) escaped from the main group but were caught with 25 kms to go.On the last climb Columbia's Tony Martin attacked,but behind him the main group was pulled by the riders of different teams (Saxo Bank,Rabobank and Milram).The German rider was caught with just 6 kms to go and so the stage's victory was decided in a bunch sprint.Cavendish wasn't there to try to win the stage,but his teammate Bernard Eisel solved the problem winning and giving Columbia the first victory in this TdS.Second (for few centimeters) was Ciolek,while third was Freire (who complained himself with Eisel after the crossing the finish-line).

"It was a very technical finish,"Eisel said."Fortunately George Hincapie gave me a really good lead-out,so I was in a great position to go for the stage win.The only problem was that when I started sprinting the line seemed like it was never going to arrive! I was nervous about Ciolek and Freire as well.They could have overtaken me right on the finish line.Fortunately I just managed to hang on. But it was close!"
The jersey remained on Cancellara's shoulders and the Swiss rider also managed to increase his advantage on Kreuziger of 3 seconds.Fabian came in 11th on the second stage,while Frank Schleck was 47th and Andy Schleck was 54th.
Today's stage of TdS wasn't difficult either.There was a hard climb,but it was very distant from the finish line so the stage victory was decided once again in a bunch sprint.4 riders (Gasparotto,Frischkorn,Dumoulin and Marlon Pèrez) tried to arrive at the finish line before of the other riders but they were caught by the peloton with few kms to go.This time also Cavendish was in the main group,so he managed to win in front of Freire and Hushovd.

"It was another perfect win for us and having four riders there to help me in the last three kilometres showed how good and strong we are as a team,"Cavendish said."It was a great lead-out and all the guys worked perfectly.Thor Hushovd tried to get a jump on me but I was able to get him before the line."
The jersey is still on Cancellara's shoulders.The Swiss rider came in 10th,while Andy Schleck arrived 25th and Frank Schleck was 62th.

Dauphine Libéré: The last stage of the French race was won by Stef Clement.Second arrived Timothy Duggan,a Garmin rider who had serious problems last year after a crash during stage 3 of Georgia Tour.Third in the stage came the Frenchman Jeremy Roy.
"I was jealous of my compatriot who won earlier this week," said Clement in reference to Niki Terpstra."I also wanted to win a stage at the beginning of the Dauphiné but I didn't have much freedom because of the time trials.Today was my last opportunity to make it but when I went in the early break,it was mainly for gaining some positions on GC.Unfortunately there were too many riders in that group so I had to go again.When I was away at the end I had no doubt that I'd win.I was sure of myself even when Joly attacked.I knew he'd be cooked from his efforts to come across.I'm so happy to finally win something other than a time trial!"
The GC was finally won by Valverde in front of Evans and Contador.Gesink came in 4th,5th was Astarloza and 6th was Jakob Fuglsang.
