4th stage of TdL: FRANK SCHLECK!!!

When I first read the news on SB website,my first thought was:"There must be a mistake.That's too good to be true".And instead,it was good and it was true.One day after Andy,Frank has won a stage at Tour of Luxembourg as well.And he also managed to get the leader jersey.Here in Italy we say "there's no 2 without a 3" and considering that both the brothers have managed to get 2 victories this year,if they respect this "rule" they should get another one before of the end of the year. Btw,here's the report of the race taken from Saxo Bank's website:

The field was again today going through Team Saxo Bank-country during the Tour of Luxembourg's 185 kilometer long second to last stage between Wiltz and Diekirch. A four-man group got away early on the course but as they had obtained a lead of five minutes Team Saxo Bank fired up the coal boilers and blasted away at the front of the peloton where a group of sixteen riders escaped - including six riders from the Danish squad, Matti Breschel, Chris Anker Sørensen, Gustav Larsson, Kurt-Asle Arvesen and the home favorites Andy and Fränk Schleck. However, the leading riders of the GC were also a part of the pursuing group and now everything was set for an exciting finale which in reality began with ten kilometres to go as the front groups emerged.Team Saxo Bank was in control at the end of the stage where the team riders increased the pace leaving the leader's jersey behind on their way to the finish line in Diekirch.On the very last kilometres Fränk Schleck created a gap with three other riders including Astana rider,Andreas Klöden and number two in the GC, Marco Marcato.With two kilometres to go Fränk Schleck launched an attack no one was able to respond to and crossed the finish line alone and took yet another victory as the crowd was going wild.The oldest Schleck-brother is now the new man in the lead of the race. "The course of the race is going exactly as we had agreed before start this morning. After 115 kilometres we get to the front and split the peloton on the mountain where the best riders follow but many are surprised by our tactics and are left behind. On the way to Diekirch more riders are being dropped and at some point eleven riders are left in the front group, whereas six of these are our riders.Finally Klöden attacks from the group and Fränk follows and has the strength to go alone on the last two kilometres. Tomorrow we must try to keep the field in one bunch until the finish line where we put our trust in Matti and hope he can do a good sprint”, said a delighted Kim Andersen after the stage.On today's stage the team had three riders in the top five. Team Saxo Bank is besides the individuel GC also in the lead of the team- and point competition and three riders are in the top five in the competition of young riders.

In fact Matti Breschel was 3rd while in today's stage while Larsson came in 5th.Chris Anker Sorensen instead came in 6th (yip de do da day!!! :),while Andy was 15th.

Talking about GC,first is Frank (what a happiness!),4th is Breschel,6th is Larsson,7th is Andy and 12th is Chris-Anker Sorensen.Second in the GC is Kloden,who is 4 seconds behind Frank.

Strange enough,even the Italian guys of La Gazzetta talked about the two brothers in an article on their website.This morning instead they didn't give the news of Andy's victory at all (while other Italian journalists,as usual,confused Andy and Frank).
The news of the "2 victories in 2 days for 2 brothers in their own land" was so amazing that even Chris-Anker Sorensen decided to publish a post on his blog in which he mentions Frank's victory (here's the link http://blog.tv2.dk/chris.anker.ol/entry320006.html ).

Oh and,as we feared,the unidentified white furry premium was given to Frank as well...Has somebody work out another theory about what that thing could be??
