Vdv!!!!! (and Frank's comment on the stage)

Yesterday there was the 4th stage of P-N.I spent the whole afternoon with the remote control of my dear television in my hand,keeping on changing channels in order to watch P-N and T-A together at the same time.At the end I started to get confused,for example there was a narrow descent in T-A's finale and I was like: "Let's hope Frank doesn't fall! Ehi,wait a mo':Frank is not racing T-A,he's racing P-N!".I know,I'm mad... ;)
Btw,here's the stage report: At the beginning of the stage,Vande Velde (is this the correct spelling?? Or do you say Van De Velde? Or Vandevelde "just one word"? Mistery...),Nicolas Roche,Daniel Moreno,Alexandr Kolobnev,Tony Martin,Samuel Dumoulin,and Xavier Florencio formed a breakaway.With 25 kms to go,VdV attacked really strong and left the company.He went very fast on the final climb and managed to arrive all alone on the finish-line,preteding he was rocking a baby (he's just become father for the second time)."I have seen other rides do it and it was special to be able to do this myself," VdV said
On the last climb of the stage also Contador attacked in a very impressive way.He got away very easily and Chavanel probably had some cold shivers down his spine.In fact the Frenchman had some problems on the climb,even if he finally managed to keep his yellow jersey on.Contador was caught by the following group of riders after the climb and passed the finish-line together with Frank.
"It is always hard to race a day after a great ride" Chavanel said "Yesterday I left a lot of energy on the road,so today in the final I was a bit spent.Btw,I keep the jersey,that is really satisfying for me.I didn't try to follow Contador.When he attacks, he really accelerates – I was afraid of putting myself too much in the 'red'."

Here's what Frank said after yesterday's stage: "Ich bin müde, aber ich denke, dass die meisten Fahrer müde sind. Dies sah man im Ziel, wo die meisten Fahrer in kleinen Gruppen ankamen“, so F. Schlecks Reaktion in St-Etienne. „Es war erneut eine schwere Etappe, es ging schnell fort und dauerte lange, bis eine erste Ausreißergruppe es versuchte“, analysierte der Mondorfer weiter. „Im letzten Berg hatte ich keine Probleme, den Anschluss zu halten. Gegen Contador hatte ich jedoch keine Chance. Zudem bin ich froh, dass Vandevelde sich den Etappensieg sichern konnte, er hat es verdient“, betonte der 14. der Gesamtwertung.
