I don't know how,but I've managed to survive this morning at school, although my classmates and my teachers tried hard to make me go mad.I was nearly falling asleep on my Chems' test, but I've managed to finish it and now I'm here at home.Yip de do da day.
As soon as I arrived home at 2 pm (tired, stressed, angry, hungry and so on) I turned on my television in order to watch TOC's 1st stage (recorded on video during the night).Well, first news I receive:Fab Fab had to retire himself because of flu.He spent the whole night throwing up and he left the race after some kms because of the fever and of the sore throat.Poor Fab.(more info available on Team Saxo Bank's website-there's also Uncle Bjarne that talks about the stage).
Second news:there are no images available. What??? No images available?? That's a tragedy!!! Eurosport decides to show images of Sir Lancelot, while the cronists talk about the deeds of that nice man. Then they show us an interview with the Pacio, ehm,Cavendish and then they start to talk about the race. Here I find out Mancebo's in a breakaway. He was caught by other two riders (Kemp and Johnson) but then these two riders probably lost themselves in the rain.Mancebo was able to continue his action all alone, and he managed to win in front of Van De Walle and Nibali (they arrived together and Mancebo won the sprint).
On one of the last climb of the race,22 riders form a little chasing group behind Mancebo. In this group there were ANDY SCHLECK (Go Go Go!!),Jens Voigt (Yuppi!),Lovkvist (as soon as she noticed him,my sister started to jump on the couch screaming:"he's there,he's there. And where's Frank? Lovkvist's better than Frank!), Rogers,Leipheimer,Rubiera,Landis,Armstrong,Horner,Zabriskie,Seeldraeyers,Van De Walle,Gesink,Mollema,Basso,Nibali,Sutherland,McCarty and Sevilla. The chase group however didn't manage to catch Mancebo, that won the race in a sprint ahead of Van De Walle and Nibali, that made a strong attack in the last kms.Last kms that I couldn't see because my video recorder stopped recording with 15 kms still to go.Anger,anger...

According to cyclingnews,Andy got the best young rider jersey (it was just a matter of time...),while Frank arrived 44th.Maybe he's not in good shape,or he's a bit ill too (hope he isn't!) or maybe he had problems because of the rain and of the cold (he hates them).Btwm,I hope he'll have better results in the coming days.
