Finally,the first Schleck victory of the year has arrived.Yesterday, in fact, Frank Schleck won the Schifflange-Differdange stage of TdL by outsprinting (!) Bergamask Matteo Carrara,who took the leader jersey.Little thing to notice: last year the Differdange stage of TdL was won by the other Schleck,Andy.It seems that this village brings good luck to the boys...A nice pic of Frank by Paul Raats can be seen on Frank's Twitter page.
Schleck and Carrara broke away from the peloton with 20 kms to go and opened a 35" gap on the rest of the group.3rd was Flecha,4th was Ivanov and 5th was Leukemans.Frank now wears the points jersey and is just 1" down in the GC.On Twitter sweet daddy Frank dedicated the victory to his daughter Leea :)
